Welcome to https://ppe.org/ (the “Site”), operated by PPE Media Ltd (“we,” “us,” “our,” or the “Directory”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Site, including any content, functionality, and services offered on or through the Site.
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Site.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and PPE Media Ltd. By using the Site, you represent that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
2. Changes to Terms
We may revise and update these Terms from time to time. All changes are effective immediately when posted. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for updates.
3. Access and Use of the Site
The Site is a directory platform that aggregates publicly available and/or user-submitted information about suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and other entities offering personal protective equipment (PPE), safety products, services, training, guidance, or related offerings (“Suppliers”).
You may use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Use the Site in any way that violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
- Transmit any material that is defamatory, obscene, abusive, offensive, harassing, threatening, or otherwise objectionable
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
- Interfere with or disrupt the Site or servers/networks connected to the Site
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site, other accounts, computer systems, or networks connected to the Site
- Use any robot, spider, scraper, or other automated means to access the Site for any purpose without our express written permission
- Introduce any viruses, Trojan horses, worms, logic bombs, or other harmful material
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise derive source code from the Site
4. User Accounts and Listings (if applicable)
Certain features may require registration or creation of an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update it as necessary.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for any violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
5. Supplier Listings and Third-Party Content
The Site contains listings and content submitted by or about Suppliers (“Supplier Content”). We do not own, control, verify, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, safety, quality, compliance, or legitimacy of any Supplier Content.
Supplier Content is provided “as is.” We disclaim all liability for any reliance on, or transactions with, any Supplier or Supplier Content. Any dealings between you and any Supplier are solely between you and that Supplier.
6. Intellectual Property
The Site and its entire contents, features, and functionality (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, software, and design) are owned by PPE Media Ltd or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may view, download, or print content for personal, non-commercial use only, provided you do not remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any material from the Site without our prior written consent (except as expressly permitted above).
7. User Submissions
If you submit any content to the Site (e.g., claim requests, updates, comments, or other materials), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, display, and sublicense such content in any form or medium.
You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to submit such content and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site and all content are provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, completeness, timeliness, safety, or compliance with any law or standard.
We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, free of viruses, or meet your requirements.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law in any jurisdiction worldwide, PPE Media Ltd, its officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, and licensors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages (including but not limited to damages for personal injury, death, property damage, loss of profits, data, goodwill, business interruption, or any other loss) arising from or related to your use of or inability to use the Site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed US$1.00 (one United States dollar).
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PPE Media Ltd, its officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, successors, and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Site, violation of these Terms, violation of any law or third-party rights, or any content you submit.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Users from other jurisdictions waive any objection to such venue and jurisdiction.
12. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable in any jurisdiction, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect, and the invalid provision shall be reformed to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
13. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and PPE Media Ltd regarding the Site and supersede all prior agreements.
